What is the 1st Movement Point, Straight Feet?
For all the 8 Movement Points, it's always mindful to remember the "Time & Place" rule. Sometimes certain situations, places, and times call for getting outside the box. Meaning we might not always need a straight foot, but for the majority of the time, we need to have a straight foot. For example, sometimes, when running in a straight line, the foot can land duck-footed to create more swivel above the foot (power and access), but this is only if one can maintain IABH, keep BCD, and load and launch correctly. It's a high-level move, and some indigenous hunters and gatherers will move this way; however, they still have control of a straight foot. Again, regardless of whether the foot is straight or not, one must have the ability to control a straight foot.
So many people today walk around with their feet pointed out. It would be hard if you asked them to walk with straight feet. Mastering the feet is one of the best things one can do for their physical body.
